Creating Gokuraku in everyday life.

What we aim for is the meeting point between the spiritual realm and Japanese culture. To realize Gokuraku—the Buddhist concept of a serene pure land—in ways that fit each person’s unique lifestyle, we explore inner worlds through cannabis and psychedelics and weave them together with Japanese culture, history, and faith to propose new ways of living.

The Gokuraku emblem is rooted in the ancient secret teachings of kotodama, the spiritual power of words that has been passed down in Japan for millennia. This sigil has been regarded as a deity itself and as the very source of all creation.

In 2025, as the first phase of the project, Gokuraku established a cannabis company in Thailand and began production and sales.

At the same time, we have launched original research to uncover the lost history of more than ten thousand years shared between the Japanese people and cannabis—a historical and cultural study of Japanese cannabis that no one has ever undertaken before.

Details of this project are being released irregularly through Ichigensanokotowari, curated by Gokuraku.

With a commitment to contributing to humanity through cannabis, Gokuraku has taken its first step. From here on, we will continue to roll out ambitious new projects as they emerge.
